What does Heartland Pagan Festival mean to me? Thats a big one, as it means a great deal to me.
Its such a surreal, beautiful place not just because of the land, but the open minded care-free and loving souls you meet there. As a gay guy, I don't often get to RELAX and be comfortable with myself. Gaia allows me to do just that. And the amazing thing is, no one there could care one iota that I'm gay. As everyone, I love the drumming. They energize me, AND they put me to sleep at night. (I camp far enough away they aren't as loud. :) HPF is a chance to be myself and forget all my mundane cares for one very Magickal week. Look forward to seeing you all there Blessings, TommyHawk |

Heartland is like a big bag of trail mix. You have a bunch of fruits and nuts mixed in with some odds and ends and once your done taking it all in you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Can you smell the drum beat or hear the warmth of the fire? I swear I can taste the spirit of the pagan community coming closer as we speak. Dragon Drafegon ![]() P.S. Just over one week before I put up my tent and have happy dreams. |
