Catherine (Apr 13, 2008)

"Wonderful gathering of very sincere and dedicated individuals. The spontaneity co-operation and joy of the group is evident. Very user friendly, open to whoever comes, they are welcoming and eager to share. I am new to all this, but I love the vibe and spirit of the group. Not pretentious at all."

monkwisker (Mar 22, 2008)

"This is not a question that can be answered by someone else. Wicca and witch-craft is not for everyone and should not be taken lightly; for that reason, there are alot of people who should NOT join until they understand why they're doing it. We'd rather have a few truly devoted than many of the unsure."

Michelle (Mar 10, 2008)

"This is the place to go to further yourself in your craft or to find your path....a place/group to be accepted for who you are...an extended family. "

Jeanette Galarza--Belmar (Feb 17, 2008)

"I really enjoy the ladies who teach this class! This was my second class and i'm really digging it!"

Agent N (Feb 3, 2008)

"Love it!"

Selūne the Huntress (Feb 2, 2008)

"Everyone who is able-bodied should take this class. It's a blast!"

Dianna (Jan 22, 2008)

"Absolutely the most genuine, friendly, open and honest people I have ever met in NYC, I felt like family from the moment I got there. They maybe a little disorganized, but it added to the charm of the whole day as it led to spontaneous and very interesting conversations. It was a pleasure to meet you all and I am very much loooking forward to the next meeting."

jemson (Jan 7, 2008)

About this Meetup

To all you good people out there Peace, Love, Harmony and Respect for one another aleads to happiness for us all.

I came to the Craft about 14 years ago. I credit my husband Stephen passing of cancer in 1991 with having given me the impetus to exploring the Wiccan path as a means of finding comfort and meaning in my life; so far, to my mind, my search has been successful. My husband was my best friend, my lover and my soul mate. My heart needed to find ways to ease its pain. The Craft taught me how to ease my pain and take control of life's daily ordeals.

With every candle I carved, every incense or bath salt I made I realized by putting my all into my products, it in turn made me heal a little bit more of myself. I was giving some of myself back and I believe it helped people. The comments I got from my customers that whatever they purchased has helped them, in turn comforted me as well. I have now decided that I have to continue with the craft in some way, despite my regular job, I need to do what I love most of all. Doing every and anything pertaining to the Craft, this is my calling, so here I am.

The Craft gave and still gives me great comfort. By the way it was a confirmation when I found out some years ago that being a witch has been in my blood for generations. Cool eh! It's like coming home. (Sorry about the 'eh' part but you cannot take the Canadian out of me).

One more passing thought, I would like to suggest one thing, to everyone who in some way practices The Craft in whatever way or form, let's stop saying "YE HARM NONE" and really live up to it. There is enough business, love, caring, sharing, (as usual the list goes on) for all of us in or out of The Craft. It is up to us as human beings to keep everything in harmony with ourselves, nature and the creatures that inhabit this planet. "YE REALLY SHALL HARM NONE."

There is a big, wide world out there and a lot of things and people to take your world apart in a negative way, do not let us do that to each other as well. We are a lot that is supposed to be a bit more enlightened, we should be there for each other instead. Supporting each other in our many endeavors.

I have been a practicing solitary witch since 1992, trained in the Minoan Sisterhood under Mary for 2 years. In 1994 and 1995 studied Witchcraft as a Science in the Cabot Tradition, receiving my 1st and 2nd degree under Laurie's wise teachings. With my entrepreneurial mindset lasting me through 3 other locations 1st Artie at Video Haven @ 14th St., then Halloween Adventure. The store in the East Village on East 3rd St. etc. (store rents in Manhattan really sucks). But??.. I am very grateful to everyone who has helped me directly or indirectly in my gathering of knowledge in the Craft.
